“Good morning”, Ayen greeted by Sir Jigs
“Good morning”, Sir Jigs
“How was your first day? “ Asked by Sir Jigs.
“Good!” said Ayen trying to hide what really transpired last night. She can’t tell his boss that she was embarrassed by Atty. Ayala in front of the class because she was late. For sure if Sir Jigs found out the truth he will make fun of her.
“By the way, are you done drafting the Documents for Valderama Property? Sir Jigs asked Ayen
“Yes Sir” said Ayen
“Can you print it now and put it on my table “ Sir Jiggs said “because i have to show it to the lawyer of Valderama for approval”
Suddenly, Ayen’s phone rang and unknown appeared in her caller id .
“Sir Jigs for a while, i will take this call” said Ayen
“Hello! May i know who is on the line? She asked
“Hello, this is Atty. Ayala” said the caller.
Ayen was filled with disgust upon knowing that the caller was Atty. Ayala. But she still managed to compose herself.
“Good Morning Atty. Ayala!” said Ayen
“Good Morning, Ms. Beadle! I call you to inform you that i already forwarded the syllabus to your email. Kindly check your email.
“Please tell your classmates that we will not meet on Monday because i have errand to do. Your reading assignment for our next meeting is from articles 1-20.”
“And also read and digest the cases under Articles 1-20. It incorporated in the syllabus”
“Did you get it? “ asked Atty. Ayala.
“Yes sir “‘said Ayen
“Ok Bye “said Atty. Ayala
Ayen was grinning because she will not see Atty. Ayala this week. This will give her ample time to study and prepare for next meeting.
After that, she informed her classmates: that they have no classes this Monday; the new coverage of the reading assignments; and the assigned cases to be discussed next meeting. She also emailed the syllabus to her classmates shortly afterwards.
Then, she texted her friends, Zai and Maret if they are available on Monday. She asked them if they could catch up on Monday at Shakey’s Katipunan at 4 pm because she missed them so badly.
According to Zai, she is free on Monday but requested to make it at 4:30 pm instead.
Both Ayen and Maret agreed.
