As I left Alpha Ben’s office, I noticed how crowded all the hallways were. I had spent a lot of the free time we’d been here helping organise the Alpha Ceremony, and it was nice to see it all coming together. Omegas were cleaning guest rooms, vacuuming the carpets in the hallways, dusting every photograph and light fixture.
I stopped as a small, dark haired girl carrying a huge basket of laundry crashed into me, dropping the basket and its contents on the floor.
“I’m so sorry, Gamma!” She gushed, hurriedly picking up towels she had dropped.
“It’s my fault.” I apologised. “I was in a bit of a daydream. I should have seen you coming!”
