Maria shot out of the room so fast, none of us had chance to ask where she was going. I helped Lottie to her feet and stared out the door at Maria's disappearing figure.
"What was that about?" Noah asked, confused.
I took one look at Jase, and we both realised at the same time the one reason Maria would bolt like that.
"Matt." We said in unison, and both of us ran for the door, Noah following behind.
"Sorry! We'll be back! He shouted to Ben and the girls as we all raced down the stairs. After what felt like a thousand steps we finally made it to the main corridor, where Jase yelled out to the Omegas and other pack members who were walking.
"Get out of the way! This is an emergency! PLEASE MOVE!" He bellowed, and they all fell in line, backs to the walls as we ran through
