The crowd roared as I stepped out on stage. My dad, Harry, and Henry were lined up in front of the podium. Matt and Alex stood waiting on the other side, and I paused for a moment to swallow the lump in my throat that had formed.I looked down as I felt a tiny squeeze of my hand and saw Skye staring up at me. I returned her smile, and began to walk toward my future. In the crowd, Maria cheered and clapped proudly, Jake, Noah and Charlie all whistling and cheering. I grinned to them, offering a small wave before turning to my father.
“Jase Daniel Johnson, you are called upon tonight to accept the title of Alpha, and to name your Luna.” My father began. “Are you ready to begin?”
