The day I returned Monay’s POV

I woke up from pain in my chest, and remembered everything, how I died, how I met the Goddess, and how I returned. I look around my room and see the clock. It was five in the morning. I checked the date and see it was the exact day I was kidnapped, 24th of December. Outside was beautifully covered with snow. I love snow.

As I thought about today’s events I came to a firm conclusion.

No one must know about my rebirth, no one must be suspicious about me. Even if I should follow the events, I needed help. The more I think about it the more panicked I became, and my head hurt. Suddenly an idea crossed my mind. I will be kidnapped at noon today while I spar with Stace. So I had plenty of time until then to go somewhere and return. If I make it, if I succeed the future will definitely change.

I slowly get up and take a quick shower, I don’t bother wearing fancy clothes, just a crop top, black jeans and leather jacket, wolves have high body temperature, also I have an alpha blood, so the cold is nothing for me. Before exiting my room I check myself once more in the mirror. The girl who is looking back at me is just 5 feet tall slim girl with the most beautiful long light brown hair reaching her knees in a ponytail. Beautiful big eyes, lush eyebrows and eyelashes, big light brown eyes and plump pink lips, and smooth tanned skin. I go to the west wing of the castle, I don’t have a wolf, yet. So I need someone to take me to the destination I want. I don’t like using cars, it is faster with the wolves, also if the wolf is the fastest.

I knock on the familiar door and have a frustrated response.

“better have a good reason to wake me this early in the morning otherwise I will make sure to make you regret it” comes the rude response before the door opens and reveals my best friend and commander of my warriors, Dean’s voice.

“your highness? What are you doing here so early in the morning? It is not 5.30 even! Did you have a bad dream or something?” came amused and sarcastic voice of Dean.

“you won’t believe even if I tell you, so get your s**t together baby boy, I need your help, be waiting for you in the backyard in five minutes” I told him and without waiting for his response went out. Even without looking back I knew he had his mouth wide open. Who would not be? After 2 years of boycott and now I ma knocking his door so early in the morning seeking help! Not from the dudes I have been so close to all these years putting them before myself?

I am friends with Dean from the time we were pups, he was like my saving angel for years, like an older brother as he was two years older than me, but after I came together with Ace and Stace we grew a distance between us.

Nevertheless, he came down to me in six minutes. “You’re late for a minute” I say not looking at him. He comes and stands right next to me staring at the place where I was looking.

“What ya need, princess, “ he says emphasizing the word ‘Princess’ as an indicator that he was still upset with me.

“I need you to take me to MoonKnight’s pack right now.” I state. “are you crazy? Don’t tell me you hit your head hard while waking up from your nightmare tonight. Spill it! If you don’t tell me why you want to go there I wont take you there and report it to his and her highnesses right away!” he says sternly.

“Relax Dean, I am not going to do anything stupid  I- ”

“don’t tell me you are going to defeat hi now! You cant do that right now, you are not ready you-“

“Let me finish, Dean Alexis Jackson!” I cut him off. “I am not going to kill him. I just want to talk to him, and no questions, Dean. I promise, nothing bad will happen, please, just believe me, I will explain everything later. Promise!” I give him my doe eyes and he sighs in defeat.

“Remember, if anything, I will report to your parents from the link right away, I will be waiting for your explanation as soon as possible!” he told and instantly shifted into a beautiful gray wolf with light amber eyes. He crouched down and I get onto him and hold onto his fur tight. Instantly he took off to the woods into the direction of MoonKnight pack’s territory.
