Larissa's POV. Breathing became hard, my heart sinking further. Alpha Thane took Alma with him to the mansion and the driver tailed after them with her baggage. “What's happening?” Zia gasped, glancing at Jake. Jake's forehead creased. “I remember the girl as the maiden he danced with at his ball,” he said. “Are they seeing each other then?” At Zia's question, Jake shook his head. “I have absolutely no idea,” he sighed. I fought the tears. I tried not to care but the pain stung so hard. “Your Highness. Your Highness?” I jolted. Zia looked at me with worried eyes. “Let's go back to the Tea house,” she added, and Jake nodded in agreement.
