I bumped into Alpha Thane!
My world stopped and I went breathless that instant, staring at the man I stabbed the other night out of ignorance.
Great fear shook me but instantly something else replaced that fear and it was remorse, regret, pain, and great sorrow.
The knife in my hand slipped and I fell to my knees at his feet...I clasped my hands before my face. “Before you go ahead and execute me, Alpha Thane, please hear me out. I- I regret my actions the other night. I'm so sorry!!! I regret stabbing you, I- I regret causing you pain, just as I recently learned that my father caused you, and your people. I'm so sorry… I don't deserve your mercy; I don't deserve your affection. I don't deserve you, Alpha Thane.” I sobbed. “I'm so– I'm so sorry!”
