Ciara tilted her head slightly to look at Jane, to make sure that the woman had really disappeared because she wanted to talk to Alex and didn't want her new friend to hear their conversation.
Alex who saw that looked confused and furrowed his brows.
"What are you doing?" asked Alex while pulling Ciara's sleeve, making the woman move closer to Alex.
Ciara quickly brushed off the man's hand and made a frowning face.
"Can't you just not be rude to a woman?" asked Ciara still maintaining her folded face.
"I can, but it doesn't apply to you," Alex replied so casually that the man's face didn't even show the slightest guilt in pulling Ciara away and just said the unflattering words he had just said.
