Chapter 12

Selene’s POV

After I had gotten out of the shower the women who led my to this room had told me there's lots of clothes in the closet that I can use and she scurried off to wherever her alpha wanted her next.

I swear I need to make a plan and get far away from here as soon as possible I thought to myself

Admit it you like it here my wolf spoke.

No I don't like it here I tolerate it here because some people aren't so bad. I told her more defensive then I needed

After rummaging through all the cloth yeah cloth, everything in that closet was so scandalous and revealing how do people wear that around ANYWHERE?

I settled on some black ripped jeans and a black long sleeve shirt then I through on my vans that I had before I'd been captured or betrayed I should say.

*knock knock*

Someone was banging in the door with more force than they needed to.

"No ones in here, move along." I spoke sarcastically.

A tall muscular man with jet black hair and blue eyes stormed in every vein in his body prominent because of his rage.

"Listen b***h your no better then the rest of us so get your spoiled scrawny ass out of the room and follow me!" He shouted in my face and I could smell the disgusting aroma of whatever he had eaten.

"Scrawny HA, this scrawny girl could snap your neck." I pulled my brows together daring him while he did the same to me.

"Oh disrespectful to a beta that'll get you cell time."

A grim smile spread across his face.

"Aww really, to bad I give no fucks." I smiled flipping him the bird.

A growl escaped his lips and in an instant his clothes were shredded into nothing and a huge grey and white wolf stood before me snarling and showing his canines.

"Come on big boy." I teased welcoming the fight and oh how I needed a kill right about now.

He lunged forward at me and a swiftly moved out of the way I bumped into the dresser and that caused him to land his paw down scratching my shoulder with his blade like nails.

"You fucker!" I screamed griping my shoulder and he growled in dominance.

I knew I was good at fighting without a bow and arrow but this wolf is at least 3x bigger then any wolf if fought and he's only the beta.

What would Levi look like?

I grabbed a small piece of wood that had broken from when I fell into the dresser and decided that

was my coverage.

He lunged at me again and this time I successfully moved away so he crashed into the wall making a crackling sound and I quickly shoved the wood into his side.

A growl shook the floor and I looked up to see.

Grandpa?Grandma! Annalise and a very very very angry LEVI.

"Stop right now Selene." My grandma spoke first breaking the silence.

"He came for me!" I shouted back and Levi growled at who I'm not sure.

"You look crazed, psychotic, where's my Selene?"

My grandma spoke and I could see the tears form in her eyes.

"Your shoulder." Anastasia gasped and everyone's eyes shifted to the claw mark.

I pulled the wood from this betas side and dropped it to the floor the instant it fell I was engrossed into a bone crushing hug by Anastasia and my grandma.

Levi walked by us going to his betas side he whispered something into his ear that caused him to whimper and he left the room still in wolf form head down and in his place.

"Sorry about him." Levi spoke to my grandpa with sincerity

"Oh no I know my granddaughter." My grandpa said with a laugh and I suddenly realized how much I've missed the people standing infront of me.

I ran passed Levi and crashed my body against my grandpas in a tight hug sobs were forcing their way up and I kept some down but for the tears there was no way.

"Oh look I'm crying like a wuss." I laughed while punching my grandpas arm

"All the strong ones cry sometimes." My grandpa joked back and I laughed at him straightening myself and back to normal.

"Always in black." My grandma looked at my outfit with disgust.

Levi stood back watching all of us and amused look on his face and pained almost.

"So you found your mate." Anastasia piped up the big elephant in the room.

I looked down rubbing my palms together and my grandma came to my side gripping my shoulders.

"Actually." Levi spoke everyone snapping their attention to his lean, muscular figure.

"Actually what?" Anastasia asked bluntly.

"I reject Selene Salvete as my mate." He spoke I felt a sharp pain in my chest and my knees buckled a loud growl left my lips and my grandma and Anastasia held me up.

"What the hell do you mean you reject her!" My grandpa shouted on the brink of shifting.

"She can't be my mate!" Was Levi’s simple reply.

"But that's not your-" I cut off Anastasia’s protest after gaining control of my wolf who's emotions I knew they were.

I'm gonna kill him! My wolf shouted in my head causing me to get a really painful headache.

Rest, your hurting I'll take care of it. Was all I told her before I pushed her down.

"Not like a wanted a mate anyways." I stated after I cut off Anastasia.

"It's not about what you to idiots want it's about your wolves!" My grandpa shouted and I've never seen him this angry my grandma wouldn't make eye contact with me and Anastasia stood in pure shock.

"I Selene Salvete also reject you Levi Pierce." I'd expected him to have the same reaction I did or even show some kind of emotion he just stood there emotionless and normal it angered me.

"So you f*****g brought me here-" I walked up to him anger evident in my face "you kept me here for 6 f*****g days-" I was closer to him to and I couldn't control it anymore "just to say you didn't want her!-" I was pounding on his chest now but he just stood there taking it "she'll never forgive you for this my wolf hates you and so do I" I punched his chest with all the strength I had left before Anastasia pulled me away.

"Come on Sel lets go home." She smiled rubbing my back.

"No screw home lets go to the bar." I turned around to look at Levi and for one second maybe one second I saw hurt flash through his eyes as his green one stared into mines.

"Whatever you want." Anastasia lead me out the house with everyone staring and I could already hear the whispers we'd left before my grandma and grandpa I couldn't take his smell in my nose anymore it drove my wolf crazy and I just couldn't think of him at the time.

"Rosiemaries?" She smiled at me after letting me play the 15th sad song I had on my playlist.

"No a real bar with hot guys that I can loose my virginity to" I smiled turning on a louder more up beat song.

"Selene-" I cut off her protest

"You said whatever I want." I pointed a finger at her tears streaming down my cheeks.

"Okay a real bar it is." She forced a smile and kept driving straight.
