I took the letter from Mickey turning to face my wife who was still screaming with tears running down her soft red cheeks. I took her inside to let her calm down, but instead, she pushed me away saying: "Leave me alone!" before she stormed off into the bathroom. I was completely broken inside numb from the pain, yet I had no words to say or stop her. This felt like my doings! If I had just stopped her or kept an eye on her, I did nothing to protect my baby girl. Nothing! I walked towards the kitchen taking out a bottle of rum before heading into her bedroom. I sat on the bed looking around the room to find photos of her on the wall when she was a little princess.
"Pres, is there anything that I can do?"
