26 NoraNora was still holding her breath when US District Court Judge Navarro set down his gavel and peered in her direction. Yikes, was he going to question her first? “Counselor Dockson,” he began in a clear tenor voice, “I welcome you to my courtroom. Thank you for coming on such short notice.” His eyes moved to the gaggle of US attorneys and her breath whispered past her lips in a slow, noiseless sigh of relief. The judge nodded to the four attorneys seated at the prosecution table, repeating their names like they were long-time acquaintances.
