Angharad looked into the mirror and hated what she saw. Looking back at her was a beautiful woman, no longer a girl. For the first time in months, she didn’t look weak, or pale. The royal servants had spent the morning perfecting her makeup, applying smoky charcoal to make her eyes body, and rubbing rouge into her face to make her cheeks look rosy. She had been given a green summer dress that was sinched at the waist, making it look as though she had natural curves. It was cut just slightly low at the chest. All in all, it was an elegant look, befitting of a royal queen. It did not sexualize her, but made her look strong and proud, as a Queen of Cwm was supposed to look. For once, she didn’t look ill.
