CASSIE’S POV After breakfast, the mansion felt strangely quiet. A few hours earlier, the room had been full of laughter, teasing, and arguments about pancakes that somehow turned into a debate about which one of the triplets would survive longest in the wilderness. Now the brothers had left for a studio session, and the huge mansion felt almost empty without them. I sat curled up on one of the living room sofas, reading a book. At first, I enjoyed the silence.
