And time passes on:
Logan stood in front of his Alpha trying not to bare his fangs. He had come to ask for permission again to allow his daughter into school.
"Sorry," Alpha Alexander sighed," but I cannot allow your child to attend the school."
Logan watched as Beta Bryan smirked and did everything in his power to not slug the man.
"Alpha, despite how everyone feels about me my daughter is still pack," Logan controlled his voice the best he could, "She still is protected by pack laws!"
"You should be happy that she and your mate are still aloud to stay in the pack," replied Beta Bryan.
Logan growled at them, " Does it bring you joy to pick on a child?"
"Enough," Alpha Alexander said as he rubbed his temples, " I'm sorry, but it cannot be allowed. It would create havoc in the school and think of your daughter. Others would just condemn her, so it's for the best of everyone in the pack."
He scoffed, "You would prefer my daughter to have no education than to protect her as pack laws state!"
"Get out," shouted Beta Bryan who rushed up to stand toe to toe and eye to eye to him, "As a rogue you would not have the insight on how to keep peace in the pack!"
"Oh, I get it," he turned to look at the Alpha and snarled, "You're a coward."
Beta Bryan lashed out in fiery, but Logan was faster and stronger than the Beta. No to be honest he was stronger than the Alpha, but for his mate he tried his best to behave himself.
However, taking their hatred for him and projecting it onto his child was to much. He knocked out the Beta in one go.
Alpha Alexander jumped up as he watched his Beta crumble to the floor. His Gamma Rad quickly stood in front of him, trying to protect his Alpha.
Logan watched the scene, he didn't feel sorry at all, "You are weak. I don't even have the time to mess with you."
He turned to leave the Alpha's office, stoping to turn around only for a second, "One day, you will regret rejecting my daughter. You will regret for being a weak and cowardly Alpha."
The drive home was long. As he pulled into the driveway he stopped and stared at his home. He didn't know what to say to his mate.
She had complete faith in her packs ability to change. However, it only isolated them.
Should they just leave and find their place with the humans? he thought to himself as he walked up the stairs and entered the cabin.
As he entered he found Ryder sitting at the kitchen table with his daughter on his lap playing with herbs, while his mate was in the kitchen with some Winter Fairies who had arrived to trade for their medicine.
Ryder was the first to notice him, "Welcome back."
"Thanks," he took a seat across from the fairy and smiled at his daughter.
Winter Mune was a small girl that inherited her mother's blonde hair and his grey eyes. she was smaller than others her age, but she made up for it with her intelligence.
"How did it go?" Cecilia asked taking the seat next to her mate.
"They won't allow it. The Alpha is to weak and to much of a coward to stand up for a child who is half rogue wether she is a pack member or not."
His mate signed.
"Perhaps it is better to go to the humans territory," he looked at his mate, "Our daughter would thrive there, and she could receive a good education."
"But humans are dangerous! If they found out about her, about us, we would die."
Ryder watched them and after awhile decided to comment, "If the wolves won't teach her then how about me? I'm one of the Winter Fairies teachers, so it won't be hard. Plus, your daughter already speaks, and writes in the language of the fairies."
Logan looked at Ryder for a long time before asking, "Who's a teacher?"
"I am"
"You?"
"Yes," stated Ryder, "I have taught the Winter Fairies children for thousands of years."
Logan was shocked, "I always assumed you were a warrior."
Ryder chuckled, "Many Winter Fairies are well versed in the arts of fighting, but I assure you I am a teacher."
Ryder was a man of tall height and well built. He had the kind of built that looked as though he could swing a heavy sword on the battlefields of old
"Ryder!" Cecilia smiled at the man, " Thank you! If Winter gets an education from a fairy she'll be considered nobility. The pack cannot just turn their backs on her!"
"Wait a minute," Logan interrupted his mate's input on the matter, "I don't think we should tell anyone. I don't want those weak bastards trying to take advantage of my daughter when they have done nothing but cause pain to this family."
"But Logan!"
"Absolutely not! This is one time I will put my foot down."
Cecilia's shoulders fell, and Logan felt his heart break at the sight.
He turned to Ryder, " If you don't mind, we would like to take you up on the offer."
