Winter was extremely excited as she sat between the twins as Cassius drove their truck towards the school.
Atticus kept his large hand on her knee and slowly moved it up before returning it to its original position, and then would repeat the action.
The path of his hand left a hot trail which made it impossible for her to sit still.
When they pulled up to the school, Jack and a small group of children, were waiting impatiently for her to arrive. When the twins truck was parked they rushed over to greet her.
Winter slid out of the truck, accepting Atticus's hand when he held it out to her, and smiled, "Good afternoon, it has been awhile since I last saw you."
Jack, the apparent leader of the group, replied back to her, "We've been waiting for you! I can't wait to show you around!"
