In which she sees HIM

POV-AMARA

Her tiny hands were gripping the back of my neck in a hug I couldn"t help but hug her back. I picked her up with her hands still around my neck and her head on my shoulder. Her soft breath was on my neck signifying she had fell asleep.

"Thank you for taking care of her." I whispered low enough that I wouldn"t wake up my angel. "You know for my little Liana I would." She gave me a smug smile. I nodded and waved a quick goodbye before walking out the door and closing it behind me before facing forwards.

The shock on my face was evident I did not expect my sister to be in front of me right now. Why was she even here. She must have been surprised too because her mouth was agape. "Alessandra what are you doing here?"

She closed her mouth before continuing. "Abigail wasn"t just your friend you know, anyways who is this?" She than looked at my daughter that started to stir in her sleep I rocked her softly so that she can go back to sleep.

I put a finger over my lip letting her know to be quieter.

"We should talk tomorrow come over to my office so that we can talk better, yeah?" Still speaking very quiet she nodded and waited for me to get of the porch before she knocked on the door. Abigail answered and they walked in together.

Hmm, that is really weird I remember they used to hate each other they didn"t want to be in the same room. They would compete to get my attention. But me and my sister had grown apart after I found out she tried to kiss my hus- er ex husband, Lucian.

I smiled at the memory of them getting me things on Valentine and then would bicker on who got the better gift I would just ignore them and watch my show in peace, at least try to. I placed Liana carefully in her car seat without waking her up.

I got home I parked my car and walked out and stared right at my home before twisting my key out of the socket and placed it in the pocket of my jacket. I went around and took out my daughter from her seat and shut the door.

I took out the keys once again and unlocked the doors to my three bedroom home. I placed the keys on the table in my lobby and walked upstairs and placed Liana in her crib that was next to my bed.

I entered my bathroom and took a quick shower before changing into my sleepwear. The moment my head touched the pillow I fell asleep.

I woke up to Liana crying I got up and picked her up. Put her on the side of my waist and went downstairs. I placed her in her highchair I gave her the bottle which she put in her lips and started to drink it.

I fixed myself some toast and scrambled eggs with some orange juice. I ate everything before I took Liana out of her highchair and placed her bottle in the sink. I went upstairs and got both me and Liana ready.

I got a few of her toys and held out my hand for Liana to take which she did. I gave her my phone where she watched some cartoons to keep her busy. I buckled her into the car seat and drove into my building. I walked into my building and into my office.

I placed Liana down and took off my coat before I heard someone clear their throat behind me. I turned and saw the last person I wanted to see.
