Evelyn's POV  Richard picked me up at seven. He wore a simple black suit and carried flowers. Not roses. Sunflowers. My new favorite. "You remembered," I said. "I asked Mirabel yesterday. She told me you bought some for the nursery last week." We drove to a quiet restaurant on the edge of the city. No cameras. No reporters. Just us.
