"Hey, let me go!" Tasha shouted. Beads of perspiration ran down her cheeks. She tried hitting Ryder with her full force but in vain. Her heart was hampering in her chest. "Let me go!" Her throat tightened.
Ryder pushed her inside the room beside his. "You will have to stay for Evan," he stated with a cold face.
"Please," Tasha cried out. She instantly got up and tried to run, however, Ryder caught her in time. He pushed her against the wall and moved closer to her. "Didn't you hear what I said," he whispered to Tasha in her ear. Tasha's loud heartbeat beat in Ryder's ear. "I will look after him," she started. "Just not from here," she pleaded him in sobs.
"You're going to stay here from now!" He ordered and left from there after shutting the door. Gut-wrenching sobs became louder. Tasha didn't understand what to do. She covered her mouth with shaking hands.
"Ryder please!" She shouted.
Ryder walked to and fro the room when Styles entered. "Do you think it's the right thing to do?" He asked Styles.
"Of course it is," Styles patted Ryder. "I'm sure she will settle down with time." Ryder nodded in understanding however, part of him did know it was a wrong decision. He knew he shouldn't force his decisions on people. That were his principals until he met Tasha.
"Tell Alina to look after her needs," Styles nodded and left the room.
In a span of some time, Alina entered the room where Tasha was kept. She saw Tasha hugging her knees, in sobs. Tasha looked at her and ran towards her. "Please let me go," she begged her. Alina held her hand and guided her towards the bed.
"I don't know why this happened but we can't go against Ryder," she spoke in a toneless voice with her eyebrows pulled closer together. Tasha continued staring at her, not knowing how to plead them.

Pale crescent moon shone like a silvery claw in the night sky. Tasha looked up at the blanket of stars that stretched to infinity. She took a deep breath and nodded to herself. She knew what her next step would be. Politely, she went downstairs to eat the dinner they had to offer. Ryder sat right opposite her, staring at her like he owed her something. Evan sat near her, giving her a tight-lipped smile. He seemed to be embarrassed of what had happened. Tasha gave him a reassuring pat, she knew none of it was his fault, it never was.
"I wasn't expecting you to settle in so well," Ryder broke the silence. An eye roll was the only response he got. Evan hit his head and dragged Tasha from there.
Once up in the room, Evan started writing on the notebook once more,
Sorry for what happened, he wrote. This melted Tasha's heart. "It's not your fault," she giggled. "Now let's get you to bed," Evan contently jumped to bed and made Tasha sit beside him.
After he slept, Tasha tiptoed out of the room to see the whole house silent. "Do they sleep this early?" She questioned herself. She peeked downstairs to see all the rooms were closed. 'Maybe they do.'
Tying her loose hair in a tight ponytail, she continued with the tiptoe steps down the stairs. Surprisingly, she found the door wide open. 'Thank God,' she murmured.
The forest was moonless and inky. The trees were covering the bright sky. It obliterated any vision she could possibly have. 'Run straight Tasha,' she spoke to herself. She ran as fast as her feeble legs could carry her. Fear of the darkness crippled in on her.
After what seemed like ages of running, she was suddenly immobilised by the boulder which had almost been waiting for her to trip on. She fell with a jerk, twisting and injuring her ankle. "Aaah!" She winced in pain but immediately covered her mouth with her hands. She struggled to hoist her wounded self up and managed to get up.
Before she could move, she noticed bright yellow eyes shinning all around her. Fear prickled all over her skin. It sends a brusque bolt of shock right through her. The bright eyes surrounding her moved towards her. There was one big animal which moved towards her while the others waited. "Help" She shouted as much as she could. "Please help," her vision blurred due to the tears welled up.
In two shakes of a lambs tail, the huge animal shifted into a human. Tasha stood frozen on the spot after she witnessed the mythical change. "Aah!" She shouted as he suddenly grabbed her shoulders. Sweat profusely ran down her cheeks. Tightly, she shut her eyes. She had no energy to stand by herself. The pressure of his strong hands was unrelenting. Her breath became shallow and her heart beat painfully against her chest. "Didn't I tell you that you can't escape?" The familiar voice spoke. Tasha opened her eyes to see Ryder infront of her. Her eyes moved to his bare stomach but stopped right there.
Adrenaline flooded her system like it was on an intravenous drip- right into her bloodstream. "You...animal," she managed to speak in bits.
