I SPENT THE weekend wondering how I was going to make professional life work with a woman like Luna. She was irritating and engaging at the same time, mostly because I couldn’t seem to shake off the attraction I felt. It had been a mistake to spend time with her Saturday, even if it had been out of compassion and obligation. I liked her- more than I should.
Monday morning, I was already in my office taking calls from the East Coast when Luna walked into her office and set up her workspace.
