CHAPTER SIXTEEN
MY STOMACH FLUTTERED in anticipation as Julian opened the door to our suite and held it for me. I stepped past him and stopped by the dining table, unsure what to do next. His eyes followed me like a predator watching its prey, and I could feel my cheeks heat, my hand raising to touch one without thought.
“Why don’t we order some food up?” His casual words belied the look in his eyes. “I’m going to get changed. If you want to do the same…”
