"I have to go to work now. Will you two be fine?" Simoun asks Lindsay, his eyes filled with love for my best friend.
"Of course!" Lindsay says. "See you tonight?"
While nodding his head, Simoun smiles and leans forward to kiss the top of her head. "See you later," he says in a sweet and soft voice before he looks at me. "Thanks for helping us out today. Please take care of Lindsay."
I smile at that. "No problem."
With that, Simoun gets inside his car and drives off to go to work. Lindsay says he only took a half day, so he still needs to attend work after lunch. On the other hand, Lindsay will come with me to Walmart and help me buy my groceries.
"It's nice of Simoun to join us earlier even when he has work," I tell Lindsay once we are inside my car. “He cares about you a lot.”
