Like he is running away for his life and avoiding confrontation with Aziel, Maxwell pulls his sedan out of our driveway and speeds up on the road. As soon as he is out of sight, Aziel slowly averts his serious gaze back to me and his hard features soften a little. I stay on the front porch while he moves forward to come closer. Fortunately, he doesn't dare to completely invade my personal space and keeps a reasonable distance. However, it doesn't make me less wary of him being here with me. "Why are you here?" I ask him, keeping myself on guard. Aziel arches his brow with a faint grin on his lip. "So... I can't come here now, while your class representative can?" The tone of his voice makes me frown.
