I briefly glanced at Clifford's face, and that's when I noticed him subtly looking me over, and then suddenly his gaze shifted away from me. I found myself swallowing as I took in his body again, and my mouth just opened on its own. It's not that I'm lusting after Clifford... but I guess any woman would react like me, being awestruck by his body. I felt a bit awkward looking at him, which I couldn't quite understand.
