"Maxine, are you okay?"
"Huh?" I turned to Klea.
I saw her furrow her brow. A moment later, my friend smiled.
"Tsk! I was saying... are you going straight home? Do you want to hang out at the mall for a bit? Even just for an hour. After all, exams start tomorrow. So we can relax our brains."
"Oh, Ethan texted that he'll pick me up and he's on his way. Next time, Klea. When we get our exam results, we'll celebrate."
"Okay." She just shrugged. "But on another note, I think I've noticed you smiling a lot lately, huh? Sometimes you seem like you're on cloud nine. Is it Ethan?" she asked.
