Maxine Martin's POV "Are you sure you're throwing these away?" Noemie asked me, surprised. "Yes, Noemie," I said curtly. "But it's such a waste. Don't you want to display flowers in your room? These arrangements are so beautiful," Noemie said, looking disappointed. "They won't fit in my room anymore. I think I suddenly got allergic," I explained. "They're so expensive. You, Max... maybe you're angry with Sir Clifford. Did you guys have a fight?" I just held my head and pretended to have a headache. I didn't want to entertain her teasing. "Noemie, you see, I have a headache. And I need to review—" "Oh, okay. I'll leave you then, Max. Don't overwork yourself with reviewing, okay?" A few moments later, Noemie left me with the plastic bag containing all the flowers Sir Enzo gave me.
