“Max!” Layla nearly tripped as she rushed to meet us with her Daddy Enzo as we entered the mansion.
“Layla! Watch your step,” I said with concern, worried she might trip while running towards me. You'd think she hadn't seen me in a year.
I hugged Layla as soon as she got close to me. Errol, Lara, and Lorraine also came over.
“How are you, kiddos?”
