“Enzo— I m-mean… Sir Enzo, what are you doing here—”
“Mr. Williams, what are you doing here!?”
My eyes widened in shock as Enzo finally approached. I immediately stepped in between the two men. I positioned myself there because I believed… my boyfriend would really go after Clifford. His eyes were still glaring. They seemed to blaze even more when I intervened. He didn’t even acknowledge my question about what he was doing here on campus.
Then Enzo boldly asked what Clifford was doing at school. He wasn’t aware that Clifford Veneracion was now one of the owners of this university. I wanted to point out this information to him, but I couldn’t do it in front of so many people. I could feel his jealousy, burning in his eyes with anger at the young man.
