Taylors POV
He's here. He came for me. It's finally over. My dad is gone! They brought my dad out in cuffs. The only people still in the cabin were me and Cade.
“Are you okay?” he asked. His arms were still surrounding me as if he was lending me his strength.
“Yes. it's finally over.” he sighed and rested his head against mine.
“What do you want to do? Your dad is going to jail tonight until there is a trial. You've technically been discharged from the ER.” I only knew one answer to his question and it scared the living daylights out of me.
“I don't want to be alone…” I whispered and I felt him nod. His hand caressed my hair. My energy was draining though. I feel so exhausted. I attempted to stand, but my knees buckled on me.
