Cades POV
The judge banged his gavel. “Silence. Don't speak out of turn again Mr. Shaw.” he sat back down and glared at Taylor. She noticed and shrank in her seat. Making herself as small as possible.
“No further questions, your honor.” Taylor's lawyer said and came back to sit.
“Miss Shaw, you say this went on for 10 years correct?” her dad's lawyer questioned.
“Yes.”
He smirked. “Well then if it went on for so long, why was it not reported? If your father was beating you, hurting you, why didn't you tell anyone? That alone could have solved your problems.” I wanted to punch him. I wanted to hurt him. But I had to let Taylor do this.
