The last deception
Althea and Enàbram were under a dark purple sky. Above them, shone a large blood-colored sun with a small black sphere in its center. It looked like a disturbing accusing eye. In the distance, the view of the horizon was blocked by an imposing range of blue mountains. The dark ground of the vast clearing was covered with blue grass with iridescent reflections and a few scattered shrubs with deep blue leaves.
“Where the heck are we? Didn’t we get into that gigantic worm? What is this place?”
Enàbram was as dismayed as Althea, but for a different reason.
