Abel hesitated before the blue crystal door of the Aetheric Cage where Althea had been locked up. Its walls were made of the same crystal as the door, though it was translucent so as to obscure the view of what was inside, allowing only shadows to be seen. The detention facility was inside a large room that served as a security area, and was called the Cage Chamber. For some unknown reason, those crystal walls generated an energy field that inhibited the powers of both Abyssals and their Aegis.
