Transformation

This is all made up; please don't hold anything against me.     Grayson’s P.O.V I keep looking back and forth between my mate, and her aunt, who is still holding the broken vase in a barrier still. It is shattered, but from what I remember when we were all outside; it was levitating in the barrier. No one was touching, or able to touch it since her aunt was the only one holding it. I had enough silence. I want answers right now on why my mate and her brother are tossing and turning, and I can’t even touch her right now ordered by her aunt. She even put up a mini barrier around them to make sure that I don’t touch my mate; which kind of upset me more than I would like to admit. “What the hell is going on here? Why are they just laying there one second and then the next second they are shaking like they were having a seizure?” I ask they’re aunt is trying my very best not to yell or break anything since I need to try to make a good impression, but it was hard not doing anything for her. “Okay you need to calm down, Grayson. They are just in transition; they are just start to get their spirit animals back after all these years. They haven’t been in contact with them for many, many years.” She says almost like it was nothing, but what exactly does that mean? She must have felt my confusion because then she shook her head and then said, “Wow, and you call yourself a werewolf. Your wolf must be telling you something right now, or I either block the smell of your mate’s wolf from you.” I stand there stunned at what she said for multiple reasons. She just called me stupid, not a good werewolf, and is basically gloating about her magic. I just about want to rip her apart right now, but I think she is testing me at the same time to make sure I am worthy to be in her niece’s life or not. So, I have to prove myself either way if it is a test or not. She nodded her head as if she was listening to someone. I give her a confused look, and she looks at me and sighs. “As you very well know we are witches, as you can see, but we all have our own different abilities. I am a medium for spirits of the dead. Yes, that even means werewolf spirits, but only the human half.” She says as if there is more to the story. “We three are special. We can have multiple powers; once I trust you enough, or if there is a really big crisis then I will tell you the rest of my powers. I feel and am told that a crisis is coming to this town, so you might want to prepare your people for what is to come. I can tell you what kind it is because I do not know, but it is very dark and wicked.” All I can do is nod, at the information, and then she says, “Oh, one last thing. Don’t tell Anyone that we are witches. That will most likely cause a panic in your pack.” Before I can ask why she waves her hand, and I suddenly get hit with a strong scent of jasmine, something else, and wolf. I turn around immediately and lean down next to my mate, take her hand, and kiss it to make sure that she knows that I’m here for her. “Please come back to me, Ryder. My mate. I have waited for you for such a long time. I have a lot to tell you, confuse you, but it has to be when you wake up.” I say in a pleading voice with my face right next to the hand I am holding; on the verge of tears. Then suddenly I hear bones crack. I jump up and look down at her in terror; I’ve seen someone transform before, but I have never seen two people do it at the same time before. Their aunt puts up another barrier that is noise canceling, one that we can barely see inside, and the other way around just in case they have a feeling attacking us. I started pacing along with looking back and forth between the clock, the barrier that has gotten darker since she first put it up. I think she did that on purpose because I keep trying to check up on them, but mainly my mate to see if she is okay. I can’t hear anything at all which is kind of the point of a noise cancelling barrier, but did she have to make it this good? “Can you dim it a little bit on this side for a little bit? I would like to check on them.” I say in a really worried voice. She looks up at me from her book then looks at the time. “How long does it take for a transformation usually take for the first time for a wolf?” She asks. “Usually about a day or more depending on the wolf.” I say kind of knowing where she was going with this. “It has only been half an hour since they started their transformation. It will not take as long this time since this is not technically their very first transformation.” She looks at me as if she knows what is doing. “How can you be so calm about this?” “I have been preparing for this day ever since my sister died, and before that.” She says, “We put a spell to lock away their wolves to protect them. The rest you will have to find out with them.” She motions her head towards the barrier; letting me know she is talking about her niece and nephew. I nod getting the gist of what she was talking about, but was locking away their wolves the best way to do it? I don’t think I could ever live without Knight even though we don’t exactly get along all the time. We both know that we have each other’s back, and that should be with every werewolf; every werewolf should grow up with their wolf. That is my opinion, at least. I know that she can sense what I am feeling, or my ancestors are telling her what I am feeling because she nods and says, “I get why you would feel that way, but there is a reason, and we had permission to do it by the wolves. Oh, sorry your ancestors told me how you were feeling, and they also say that you are a dumbass for doing what you were doing with all those girls. Yes, they clarified on what they meant, so you are good on that part with me, at least. I don’t know about my niece and especially my little nephew.” I look over the barrier wondering how my mate is doing, and what is to come next. Will my mate accept me and my mistakes, and then there’s this crisis that is coming in the future. We don’t know how soon or how far away it will be, but that it is coming. I just don’t know what to do right now, but what I do know is that I am not moving from this house until I know that my mate is alright and safe. A two more agonizing hours that felt like an eternity of waiting, and of not seeing anything of my mate; her aunt finally let me see her, and she was fully transformed along with her brother. They were laying down right where they were, but curled up in balls of fur asleep. She has pure white fur which is very very rare; white wolves were thought to be extinct, but here is one right in front of my eyes. Now her brother is a grey wolf, but he has a spot of white on his forehead. I can’t help but stare at them because they are both so beautiful, but mainly my mate, the white f*****g wolf. I still can’t wrap my head around that. Suddenly her eyes open, she gets up, stretches, and walks up to the barrier where I was then just sits. She sits there for a few minutes just doing nothing; I put my hand on the barrier and then she puts a paw on the same spot as if she could see me. I look at her aunt, and she looks just as surprised as me. I give her a look, and she nods at me knowing what I mean. Before we do anything, we need to grab clothes for them both. I go to ‘Zander’s’ room to grab him his clothes that he’ll need after his transformation then I head back to the living-room. After we got all the clothes for them all ready, we stand a few feet away, and I stand facing backwards that way she won’t be too embarrassed.
