Twenty-Six In the morning, I rolled over toward Jonas, who was asleep next to me. He was bathed in the morning light, hair loose and soft over the pillow. I reached out and carefully touched his hair. Without opening his eyes, Jonas pulled me into his warmth. We lay like that for a while, Jonas stroking my back, my fingers tangled in his hair. His breathing was still deep and even; I might have thought he was still asleep. But his fingers kept a lazy rhythm, and with our bodies pressed together, I could feel him growing hard. I thought back to our video chats and the way Jonas looked when he came. I wanted to see it again, but this time to experience the heat and electricity in person.
