I’m so nervous.
Everett has finally arrived, and I’m super nervous. Mom and Dad think he will be able to tell who the father of my baby is by just touching me. His abilities are remarkable, which is amazing, but at the same time, I’m scared Regan won’t be the father of my child.
“Hello, Everett,” my mom says. “Welcome back from your journey around the world.”
“Thank you.” He smiles at my mom and hugs her before looking at my dad. The two of them exchange a smile, but then my dad just goes in for a hug, squeezing the air out of poor Everett’s lungs.
“I missed you, buddy!” my dad is teary-eyed and quite emotional. Xander, Everett’s twin, might be his Beta, but Everett is also important as he is our family’s servant and also the pack’s Beta and medic.
