Caden When I hear Carly scream in agony and squirm in the hands of the mud giant, my vision darkens, and I’m taken away from the grotesque scene before me. The winds change, and suddenly, I find myself lying in freshly fallen snow. ‘What the hell?!’ I look around the field of snow with wide eyes, confused about my location. ‘Fenrir...where are we?’ There is no answer. An eerie feeling settles over me. I might not know where I am, but something tells me to push myself up and walk. My muscles are sore, and I have to drag my wolfish body forward, but at least I’m getting somewhere. I cross the snowy field, stopping when I see a group of people before me. It’s another pack.
