Rose was now asleep.
After ensuring the heat-padded blanket was doing its job, Rune dimmed the lights in the room and briefly stepped out to converse with Symon.
He met the Beta standing not too far from the room.
Symon’s frown was prominent, filled with confusion and contemplation.
“Shall we have a drink?” Rune walked past the man. “Whiskey or tea?”
“Uhm… Tea. You need tea to relax after that long journey.” Symon hurried and soon, he was in front, leading them to the kitchen.
The men sat by the marble island in the middle of the kitchen while water for the tea boiled.
