"Sit, Natalia, and wait here. I need to pull up your file and go over it," Mr. Portillo walks into his office and slams the door closed. I sit here in the office and text Cassie. She calls me immediately. "What happened?" she sounds out of breath. "Your sister attacked me before school. I don't know what happened with your parents, but she is blaming me for ruining their marriage and your family. She called me a bunch of names and hit me, but when Mr. Portillo showed up, she blamed me, and now I am in the office." I can hear her moving around. "I am on my way," I sigh. "Please don't come. Just call Billy or I don't know. Should I call Officer Grady? He's the only person that always believes me. Maybe I can get him to come up here and talk to Mr. Portillo, because he is furious,"
