The days passed quickly now with always something to do. Baby Kaela dictated my routine and my pace. Initially, there was no semblance of a schedule, her routine irregular. Drained from her constant needs and my cabin duties, I worried over her feedings like a mother hen, never knowing if she was receiving her proper share of milk or if my body was producing enough. But in the past few days, an order had appeared to her sleeping and eating patterns. My milk was plenty and I noticed some weight gain on Kaela. My pregnancy book said that mothers" milk is devoid of Vitamin D, unless the mother was on supplements.
