"Don't worry about it," I whispered, refusing to look at him. "It's really none of your concern." "You're wrong." I didn't respond. I kept my eyes firmly fixed on my feet, trying to avoid looking at him while simultaneously not wanting to let go of his hand which was holding mine. I suddenly realized that he was waiting for a response but I still refused to utter anything. My mind was racing with different thoughts.
