"Oh god..." she whispered to herself before continuing. "Please don't hurt me, please don't kill me." Her voice was soft and shaky, yet somehow still filled with terror. I couldn't help but tense up as she spoke, but before I could say anything the sound of a bell ringing overhead drew my attention away from her. "Here are your food and drinks," the girl stated as she placed our meals in front of us. "Enjoy." With that, she left the table and headed back to where the counter was located.
