Alice Pov,
I woke up in a daze, my head pounding and my body aching. I looked around and realized I was no longer in my cell. Instead, I was in a dimly lit room, strapped to a chair.
Gabriel stood in front of me, a cruel smile on his face. “Welcome to your new home, Alice,” he said. “You’ll be staying here for a while, until you learn to cooperate with us.”
I tried to move, but the restraints held me in place. “What do you want from me?” I asked, my voice shaking.
Gabriel leaned in close to me, his eyes blazing with anger. “We want information,” he said. “We want to know everything you know about the outside world, about other humans, about anything that can help our pack survive.”
“I don’t know anything,” I protested. “I’m just a regular person.”
Gabriel didn’t believe me. “We’ve been watching you for weeks,” he said. “We know you’re a spy for the humans. We know you’re here to destroy us.”
“That’s not true,” I said. “I don’t know anything about your pack. I don’t even know what you’re talking about.”
Gabriel just laughed. “We’ll see about that,” he said. “We have ways of making you talk.”
He motioned to one of his pack members, who brought over a tray of torture devices. There were knives, needles, and other sharp objects, all designed to inflict pain.
Gabriel picked up a knife and ran it down my cheek, leaving a trail of blood in its wake. “Let’s start with something simple,” he said. “Tell us what you know, Alice. And maybe we’ll go easy on you.”
I tried to scream, but the gag in my mouth muffled my cries. Gabriel continued to slice me with the knife, each cut deeper than the last. The pain was unbearable, and I wished for death.
But the torture continued for hours, until I was barely conscious. Gabriel would stop occasionally, to ask me questions, but I couldn’t answer. My mind was a jumbled mess of pain and fear.
Finally, Gabriel stopped and looked at me, his eyes glittering with triumph. “You see, Alice,” he said. “Resistance is futile. You will tell us what we want to know, eventually. And when you do, we’ll let you go.”
I knew he was lying, but I was too weak to argue. All I wanted was to escape this nightmare and go back to my old life. But I knew that was never going to happen. Not as long as I was in the hands of these monsters.
As Gabriel left the room, I was left alone with my thoughts. I knew I had to find a way out, before it was too late. But how? The restraints were too tight, and I was too weak to fight back.
I closed my eyes and tried to calm my breathing. Maybe if I focused, I could find a way out.
I lay there for what felt like an eternity, my mind racing with thoughts of escape. But each time I tried to move, the restraints dug deeper into my skin, reminding me of my helplessness.
It wasn’t until several hours later that Gabriel returned, a smug look on his face. “So, Alice,” he said. “Are you ready to talk?”
I glared at him, refusing to give him the satisfaction of seeing me broken. But inside, I was afraid. Afraid of what he would do to me next. Afraid of what would happen if I didn’t cooperate.
Gabriel seemed to sense my fear. He walked around the chair, inspecting me like a predator sizing up its prey. “You know,” he said. “You’re a beautiful woman, Alice. It’s a shame you have to be so difficult. If only you had cooperated with us from the start, we could have had some fun together.”
I shuddered at his words, knowing exactly what he meant. But I refused to give in. “I have nothing to say to you,” I said, my voice barely above a whisper.
Gabriel just chuckled. “We’ll see about that,” he said. “In the meantime, I have a surprise for you.”
He motioned to one of his pack members, who came forward holding a syringe. “What’s that?” I asked, my heart pounding.
Gabriel smiled. “It’s a little something to help you relax,” he said. “Don’t worry, it won’t hurt. You’ll just feel a little dizzy, that’s all.”
I tried to struggle, but it was no use. The pack member injected me with the syringe, and within seconds, everything went black.
When I woke up, I was lying on a cot in a small room. The restraints were gone, but my body still ached from the torture. I looked around, trying to get my bearings. Where was I?
As if in answer to my question, Gabriel walked in. “Good morning, Alice,” he said. “How do you feel?”
I glared at him, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of seeing me scared. “Where am I?” I asked.
Gabriel just smiled. “You’re in our medical center,” he said. “We had to make sure you were healthy before we started our little project.”
“What project?” I asked, feeling a sense of dread.
Gabriel leaned in close to me, his breath hot on my face. “You’re going to be a slave to us, Alice,” he said. “A loyal member of our pack. And there’s nothing you can do to stop it.”
I felt sick to my stomach. How could this be happening? I had to find a way out, before it was too late.
But as Gabriel left the room, I realized that escape was going to be harder than I thought. The room was soundproof, with no windows or doors. And even if I did manage to get out, where would I go? I was in the middle of nowhere, with no resources or allies.
I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I had to stay strong. I had to find a way out of this nightmare, no matter what it took. But for now, all I could do was wait and hope for a miracle.
