Time Changes Everything

 zoey recieved a text message from Ashi "Revenge is taken". pissing her off.

With no option left zoey get into Virat's car and they set off to their home. the ride was awfully quiet Virat just could not figure out what is wrong with her, why is she behaving like this. they used to be on good terms. they were friends and use to pull out pranks on people together but the person sitting with her is nothing like the person he loved. 

He had no idea what she has suffered, what she has gone through to cause this drastic change in her personality . A once so lovely playful girl is now quiet .

finally Virat decided to break the ice "Well Congratulations , Ana and big bro were in a business meeting thats why they couldn't attend the ceremony dont be angry with them"

"Thanks , and they dont need to come i wasn't expecting even you " she said with an emotionless face. like their presence does not matter to him.

By now Virat was bit annoyed with her rude behavior and he compsed himself ask in a calm tone " 'what's wrong with you Zoey , you were not like this what is it that changed" 

she remains quiet when not getting any answer he asked with a hint of anger in his tone

"Zoey I am talking to you , shouldn't you atleast reply after  all I am your fiance and soon will be your husband at the very least look at me and answer me"

Zoey snap at him "Fiance , Husband really as far as remember i was not asked before fixing this alliance so dont expect anyything from me."

Virat's grip tightens on the steering wheel now anger is bubbling in him somehow he calms himself and asks with clenched jaw "then we can talk about this nicely we were friends why are you being so distant"

" Now nothing is like it used to be and not even going to the way it used to" she told with a glint of sadness in her tone.

Virat could not take it any more and finally lash out "that is what i exactly want to know what is it that Changed, actually not only you Big Bro and Ana are changed too I mean what happened to you all. Everyone is so different. When I left for US every thing was fine and now why everyone is so wierd. Their eyes seems so unfamiliar , What the hell is happening "

Hearing this Zoey let out a small chucke "TIME , it is time that has changed with it every other thing changed People , relations , hearts , opinions , just everything"

How could she tell him how she trusted a cheater who supported her when she was emotionally weak take advantage of her vulnerable state and then trade her to that hell for some money. that she was a fool to even trust someone. once bitten twice shy and now she dont trust anyone especially men.whoever it is.

she cant make this mistake again . Time really has shown her a dark side of this society , awarded  her a bitter experience and definitely changed her from naive to being mature in such a young age and now she just does not wish any man in in her life.

listening to these ambiguous answers Virat was irritated He chose to keep quiet as he dont want to argue after all they have met after a long time he dont want to put up a fight on thier first meet.

finally they reached their destination Singh's Villa.
