Abby had decided to lay down and take a nap after the whole ordeal. She wasn’t able to get any sleep, but she was able to get away from everything for a few hours. Unfortunately soon enough Evelyn brought Maggie to her for comfort. Since Abby was pregnant with another baby her milk supply all but dried up. Maggie now only eats twice a day from her, fortunately Maggie is interested in eating mashed up foods like potatoes.
“Thanks Evelyn,” Abby said and accepted the crying infant. Abby hushed her daughter and brought her to her breast. Maggie calmed down quite a bit as she started to drink. Abby decided to lay back down and quickly settled in.
“When we are done do you want to go get some food from the kitchen?” Abby asked her daughter. Maggie gave her mother a look as if to say of course.
