~Zuri~
"Are you sure this is right?" I asked Tobias, Auntie Cordelia's chauffeur, as he pulled into the parking lot of a luxury, five-star hotel.
"Yes." He nodded, and I frowned.
"Give me a sec." I pulled out my phone as I called the number on the paper.
"Who is this?" Vesper said.
"Hello, it's Zuri."
"It's 5:57. You better be there already."
"Is there Nansket Hotel?"
"Yes. Go in; I have someone waiting to attend to you."
"You didn't tell me it was a hotel," I scowled.
"Yes, and? What's wrong with it being a hotel?" She asked.
"k********g, trafficking, s*x exploitation, and the likes. You could be trying to set me up with a man?" I argued.
"You think I'd waste my time luring you to a hotel if I wanted to do any of that." She snorted.
"You could hav—"
"If you aren't interested in my help, leave, and if you do, forget ever being part of my family." She snapped and ended the call.
I stared at the phone and chewed my bottom lip.
"Miss Shepherd?" Tobias said, eyeing me through the front mirror, and I groaned.
"Your intuition better be right this time, Auntie. Be on standby for my call," I grumbled.
"Yes, Miss." He nodded, and I entered into the hotel.
"Hello, you must be Miss Shepherds." The receptionist smiled before I could say anything.
"How did you know that?" I frowned.
"Mrs Vane informed us you'd be here by this time. You're a minute late, though, but that's fine. Can you excuse me for a minute?" She asked as she picked up the telephone.
"Hello."
"...."
"Yes, she's here."
"..."
"Ok, thank you." She put down the phone and gave me her brilliant smile. "Your escort will be here any moment, Miss."
"Is my escort a male or female?" I asked.
"Female, Miss."
"Female..." I mumbled as I bit my inner cheek. "Do you know why I'm here? You ought to since Mrs Vane told you about me."
"No, Miss. I'm not privy to those kinds of information."
"Am I about to be traffic—"
"Miss Shepherd?"
I turned around to see a pretty red-haired lady, around my age, smiling at me with the same ridiculously large smile that the receptionist had.
"And you are?"
"Jenna, please follow me," Jenna said.
"Can you tell me why I'm here because I'm tired of all this cryptic s**t?" I frowned as we walked into the elevator.
"You want to marry Mr Vane, don't you?" She asked.
"Yes, but I don't see how whatever this is is going to help me."
"Don't worry, it will. Mrs Vane's plan is brilliant. You're as good as married if you play along."
"Maybe I would be sure if I knew what it was. Why aren't you telling me? Are you guys planning to hurt me?"
"Mrs Vane will never hurt you. Just be patient; I'll explain when we're seated and away from prying eyes."
We walked out of the elevator, down the hall and until we stopped at a door.
"Ladies first," She winked as she opened it for me, but I stepped back.
"Are you guys trying to pimp me?" I glowered at her.
"No, why—"
"Then why the f**k are you guys bringing me to a hotel room?"
"Are you always this paranoid?" She scowled; her nice guy act dropped as she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Well, forgive me for trying to be safe. Vesper didn't tell me that her 'oh, so brilliant' plan involved a hotel. Haven't you heard the stories of how innocent girls get lured and r***d by this type of trick? I—"
She grabbed my arm, pulled me into the room and slammed the door shut.
"What the hell are you doing? Let me out!" I snarled as she blocked it with her body.
"Dear Moon Goddess, listen to me. This is my room, and it's the only place we can sit and talk without Mr Vane finding out. My cousin has spies everywhere, and if he finds out I met with you, he'll know that our grandma is planning something, ruining your chances of being Mrs Vane, so sit down and let's talk like f*****g reasonable adults."
"You're his cousin?" I raised my brow.
"Yes, now sit down and let me tell you how to get the man." She ordered and I eyed her.
She did look a little bit like Vesper despite her freckles red hair, and green eyes.
"I'm waiting." She tapped her feet on the ground.
"Ugh, fine." I huffed and stormed to one of the sofas in the large suite.
"Would you like some wine? I think we both need it to calm our nerves so we wouldn't rip each other's throats out." She said as she opened the mini fridge. "Do you have anything in mind?"
"As long as it's not drugged, I'm fine." I joked as I crossed my legs.
"You're definitely going to run Corvus mad." She chuckled as she set two glasses in front of me and poured wine. She took one and took a large gulp. "See? Not drugged."
"Lucky you," I grabbed my cup and took a small sip.
My eyes rolled back the moment the sweet liquid hit my throat and the cup slid from my hand.
"Y... you b-bitch..." I groaned as I stumbled off the chair and almost fell to the ground, but she caught me.
"Let g—ah!" I screamed as a sharpness swept through my stomach, straight to my core, lighting it up with molten desire. Every inch buzzed with the bitter need of desire, craving to be touched.
I needed something, anything, between my legs.
I let out a loud, shaky moan, my knees trembling as she helped me onto the bed.
"Don't worry, Zuri. After this night, you'll thank me for this." Jenna smirked as she tugged on the zipper of my dress.
~Corvus~
"Alpha!" The receptionist gasped as I stormed into to the elevator, but I didn't spare her a glance.
Mallum growled and raged in my head the moment I stepped into the building, urging me to move quicker than my already fast stride.
Vesper had lied; I couldn't sense Anton anywhere in the building, nor my bride. Yet my body refused to turn back.
The strange, yet inviting, smell in the air held Mallum by the balls, dragging me and him to f**k where.
'f**k!' He growled as the scent of raspberry grew heavier.
Raspberry?! That wretched first daughter!
The elevator stopped and opened, and I groaned at the fragrance in the hall.
My eyes flashed gold as Mallum struggled to take control, and my legs moved until I stopped in front of a door.
I lurched forward, slamming my fist into the wall and cracking it as my c**k strained harder against my pants.
She was in there.
I was going to strangle that little b***h.
"Settle down, Mallum." I muttered under my breath.
'Go in! f**k her! Mark her!' He growled, fighting against my mental chains. I reinforced the b*****e, straightened my spine and entered the room.
Fuck!
Her sickeningly sweet, bewitching scent ravaged my being, and I stumbled forward, pressing my hand to my face. Primal need rising and fogging my logic.
A beastly growl tipped through my throat as I threw my head back, shutting my eyes.
Mallum howled and thrashed against the weakened restraint.
"Calm the f**k down." I snarled as I slammed the door shut. I took in a deep breath, needing air to calm down the madness in me, but f*****g raspberry choked me.
"f**k!"
"C... Corvus." A soft, breathy moan silenced both me and the beast.
I opened my eyes, and all my common sense shut down.
Zuri was sprawled on the bed in a red lingerie; one of her hand cupping her boob and the other, between her legs. Her face, framed by her dark hair was flushed with passion and sweet little gasps escaped her lips.
"Corvus." She moaned, throwing her head back, and exposing her neck.
"Mine!" Mallum and I roared, ripping off my clothes and I pounced on her. I gripped her smaller hands, pinning them over her head.
Honey amber eyes fluttered open, dilated and heavy with lust and she arched her slender body towards mine.
"I... I... don't know—ah," she cried and wrapped her legs around my hip. "P-please... f**k m-me, pl—"
I crashed my lips with hers, devouring her and Mallum roared.
Fuck, she tasted f*****g sweeter than she smelt. Was this how raspberry tasted like?
"You're f*****g going to regret this." I mumbled against her lips as I ripped off her panties.
