Chapter 3

Zoe

Eleven days and I am on a bus on my way back to Florida. Yeah, I'm poor so bus it is. I get on and this creep sits next to me he won't leave me a lone he's a handsome guy but real creep vibe. Anyway we get to a stop in North Carolina it's my favorite stop I travel by bus quite a lot so the people at this stop/ pick/drop off up have gotten to know me. I go in and order a small soup and the little old lady who owns the place sides a piece of pie in my bags too, she's awesome. I hesitate to sit because the creep is waiting for me to sit and Mrs. Lorraine notices my hesitation she points out this Marine that is sitting at the table and tells me he's a good kid going back to base in Florida she's known him a few years now and he will be happy to have my company. I walk over to him and sit down I tell him Mrs. Lorraine sent me I explain whats happening and he said he has no problem acting like we know each other well and so for the next half hour we do get to know eachother he's only 19 so we are 3 years apart his name is Zack and he's very good looking and buff. When it's time to get on the bus he holds my hand the creep says you guys know each other Zack says yeah I haven't seen her in a while and missed her face so much. Now we found out this was actually not a lie he's been on several buses with me and noticed me he said he looked forward to seeing me again the first time he got on to go to boot camp I let him sleep on my shoulder I remembered that but he was a lot smaller then still tall just not buff. So that was kinda fun to figure out we had talked a lot that time then I let him sleep on me at that time.

We sit and talk he holds my hand at every stop I mean Holy Batman, Superman. He's actually really sweet and we do exchange numbers. We wouldn't go out or anything, we just wanted to have another friend to talk to. Which is great. We talked and I got really tired he told me to rest he put his arm around me and I felt safe enough to fall asleep on his chest. I heard him say I heard you the last time you know, when I went to sleep on you, you said I will watch over you nothing bad will to you I promise to protect you and your things. I thought to myself this young girl is so cute offering to take watch over me and protect me such a beautiful soul and I was right. Now its my turn you rest and I'll keep you safe. I snuggled into his side and fell alseep as he kissed my head. Creepy guy is always watching.
