Not five seconds after he sent the text, Hunter’s phone vibrated with an incoming call. Trick. That was expected. He couldn’t send such a message and not get an immediate response. Hunter was almost surprised it wasn’t Lorenzo or Jaxson calling. This was the kind of scenario that sent their blood rushing and every protective instinct on alert. He had to take the call before his friends geared up like a SWAT team ready to take on an army. The thought almost made him smile.
