“Yet you put yourself in danger for her,” Abigail stated.
“I don’t think the two are connected,” Hunter argued quickly. “Mackenzie has nothing to do with this stalker.”
Abigail looked troubled. Like Hunter was being naïve, and she didn’t know how to tell him. Lorenzo looked exasperated, Jaxson was clearly pissed, Trick and Nadiya shared a look that set Hunter’s teeth on edge. As usual, Adrian appeared amused, like he found the entire thing somewhat funny, while Gabriel just looked to the ceiling and sighed heavily.
