“The arrows are ready my lord”, Anthony tells me. I knew the love of my life was not going to be mine. I can see the way she looks at that werewolf, which from what I heard from his father, should’ve died along with his mother and her mate and that he would’ve gotten what he wanted if Maira wouldn’t had interrupted him.
“I want to see them” I said, looking out my window. That werewolf’s father killed the woman he loved when he couldn’t have her and made their son his personal slave before he became the pack slave. I know that Maira is not going to be mine and, after some hard thinking, I’m willing to give her up, but I will take her place as the new King of the Underworld.
