Eliana's POV Professor Matthews brought the car to a stop but he left the engine running. A police car parked directly behind us and my heart started racing in my chest. Professor Matthews placed his hand over mine. “Stay calm. We didn't do anything wrong.” A lanky uniformed policeman appeared beside his window and tapped on the glass. Professor Matthews rolled the window down and smiled at the officer. “Good evening, Officer.
