Eliana's POV
After narrowly escaping Oliver, Professor Matthews drove us downtown. I had no idea where he was taking us but I didn't ask either. Almost fifteen minutes after we left the parking lot, he pulled into another parking lot. The sun had disappeared behind clouds then and the temperature had dropped by a few degrees.
“Where are we?” I asked him as the car rolled to a stop.
“The suburbs. No one we know can see us here. It's just me and you now.” He killed the engine and turned fully to face me. “Or do you have anywhere you'd like me to take you?”
